With a passion for the game that showed itself at a young age, Tariq Lamptey joined Chelsea at 8 years old, progressing to their Under-23 team and making his professional debut in 2018 at the age of 19.

 

2019 was a fantastic year for Lamptey. After making his first appearance in England’s squad at the Under-19 European Championships, he made his senior debut for Chelsea against Arsenal in the Premier League and two further appearances in the Emirates FA Cup.

 

Following a move to Brighton & Hove Albion in January 2020, Lamptey put in a Man of the Match performance in his first appearance for the team and continued to impress throughout the season.

 

2022 Lamptey made his international debut at the Ghana vs Brazil, International Match in France.
